WHO THIS IS FOR
Programs ready to build a real, ongoing evaluation practice. Programs with funder, board, or leadership team reporting requirements across multiple stakeholder groups. Programs that want one system that does everything.
A note on these tools
These products are designed for program improvement, stakeholder feedback, and funder reporting. They are not psychometrically validated research instruments and are not intended for use in formal research studies or academic publications.
Results should always be reported as stakeholder perceptions — for example: "X% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that..." This language accurately represents what the data shows and is appropriate for funder reports, board presentations, and internal program review.
The surveys included in these toolkits are grounded in evaluation research and practical measurement principles. They are designed to give programs meaningful, actionable data within the time and resource constraints of real program work — not to replace rigorous academic evaluation.
If your program requires a formally validated instrument or independent evaluation, I'm happy to point you toward additional resources.
Need something more customized?
The toolkits are designed to work without support — but some organizations need more than a ready-made tool.
These tools are purposefully built to serve the widest possible range of youth-serving programs. But if your program has specific needs, a unique population, or grant requirements that don't quite fit a ready-made system — I can help directly.
Or if you're building an evaluation system from scratch, designing custom surveys, trying to identify the right outcomes to measure, or need help turning your data into something useful, reach out. You'll work directly with me.
FAQs
Common questions about the tools
What format do I receive?
All toolkits are delivered as Word, Excel, and PDF files. Everything works in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace — the surveys are in Word (or can be used as Google Docs), the results file is in Excel or Google Sheets, and the summary report is available as both a PowerPoint and PDF.
Do I need special software?
No. If you use Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, you have everything you need. The auto-calculating results file is built in Excel and is fully compatible with Google Sheets.
How long does it take to administer?
That depends on your program. A full evaluation cycle — from administering surveys to having results ready to share — takes approximately four weeks at a comfortable pace. If you're working toward a deadline, the whole process can be completed in about a week.
Can I use this for multiple programs or sites?
Each toolkit is licensed for use at a single site. If you run multiple sites or programs and need additional licenses, reach out — rebecca@evaluationtoolkits.com — and we'll work something out.
What if I need help?
Start with the administration guide included in your toolkit — it walks through setup, administration, and results step by step. The toolkit also includes an FAQ section that covers the most common questions. If you still need help after that, email me directly at rebecca@evaluationtoolkits.com and I'll get back to you.
